TheaWhat's Your Story?

Cost : £650 (pounds sterling)

Dates : Sat 16th – Thrs 21st October 2010

Language : English

We are each a never-to-repeated life trying to weave our unique story into the ongoing tapestry of the world. Question is - what's your story?

Most of us spend each day getting by and getting through. But we each contain a seed hidden deep inside that is larger-than-life. So how do we get our lives back on track? How do we escape the shoulds and oughts that plague us each day? What do we do if we've lost a foothold in our destiny and feel as though we've wound up adrift in a life of someone else's making? How do we regain authority over own lives?

Drawing on storytelling, poetry, myth, dreams, and ritual, this five-night retreat will help nurture creativity, evoke natural talents, and draw out each individual’s gifts. To these we'll apply humour and imagination, arousing enthusiasm and renewing inspiration. We'll focus on awakening each individual’s sense of purpose and cultivating a deepened sense of self-identity.

Tutor

Thea Euryphaessa (pronounced, ‘yurifeesa’), has worked with individuals in a healing, spiritual, and mentoring capacity for several years, helping them identify and reconnect with the sacred in themselves, in others, and in Nature.

Weaving her gifts as an intuitive energy healer with humour, patience and empathy, together with her ongoing studies into rites of passage and initiation, mythology, dreams, and depth psychology, Thea’s open-minded, down-to-earth manner, has made her popular with a modern generation of seekers: people who yearn for an expanded vision of themselves, a deepened sense of identity, and a life imbued with soul free from the ‘airy-fairy’ speak often associated with spirituality.

Her first book, ‘Running into Myself: A Journey through the Soul of the Feat,’ was released in the UK on 5th April 2010 and in the US on 21st June 2010. It chronicles her threshold-crossing from girl- to womanhood, accompanied by examinations of myth and depth psychology: a candid, inspiring book, in which life illuminates ancient tales and archetypes find form in modern experience. Think ‘Eat Pray Love,’ meets ‘Women Who Run with the Wolves.’ She is currently working on her second book - working title, ‘Snakes and Ladders’ - and a series of publications for Urban Deva.

Further information about Thea and Urban Deva's philosophy can be found on her website: http://www.urbandeva.com.
