Yoga Retreat - with Mary Madhavi

Overview
This is the way a day is usually designed. The purpose
of this is to give you an idea of how your days will be spent. There
will be space for laughter, relaxation and personal revelation whenever
and where ever we practice.
All aspects of practice are encouraged and experienced
within the groups ability. A high standard of Pranayama, (breathing
practices), Asana (physical practice), Kriyas (cleansing), Chakras,
Meditations, Chanting, Personal Soul Work, Relaxations, Karma Yoga.
During the week we will bathe in the river, walk
in the woods, relax under the trees, have special trips to beautiful
sights always relaxing and rejuvenating.

The practice always has a serious intent with a
light hearted, accepting atmosphere and attitude. All posture work
is as dynamic as possible within personal ability, anyone can take
part.

Mary
Madhavi is an experienced and internationally renowned
yoga teacher and group facilitator. During the 30 years she has
been teaching yoga, she has studied with Philip Jones, Alan Babbington,
Swami Indrananda Ji, British Wheel, Bihar and Sivananda Schools
and the work of Swami Gitananda. Mary is a Sivananda ATTC Albion
Yoga Teacher and Craniosacral Therapist.
After a serious road accident she learned
first-hand the power of yoga by overcoming her disability against
the odds. This has enabled her to inspire and help both teachers
and students using the amazing power of practical classical yoga
to invigorate their lives - a powerful, transformation and heart-opening
experience.
Mary is dedicated to sharing yoga as a way of life and her work
encompasses a dynamic, grounded approach to yoga and meditation
practices. Her sessions are infused with her warm personality, joy
for life and her complete acceptance of everyone.
